* For a major Food processor, we implemented a unique usage of Manugistics software. Captured production data from the client’s VMI system and converted it into shipment forecasts. Validated clients’ S&OP Processes. Designed Manugistics Collaborate.

PwC Consulting is a leading management consulting firm specializing is strategic change, business processes design and system implementation.

Principal Consultant – Integrated Supply Chain Management
Managed business process improvement projects in S&OP, DP, NP, VMI and SS. Managed system implementations for Manugistics, i2 and custom developed software. Provided quality review and continuous improvement services. Developed project business cases, statements of work, timelines and resource plans. * For a major beverage company, our implementation of S&OP, DP, NP, and SS saved the client over $14.2 Million in finished goods inventory and $4.7 Million in components in one region only
* For a major food service company, our implementation of S&OP, DP, and NP caused an immediate improvement in forecast accuracy of 20 percentage points and improved their SKU planning coverage to 100% from 40%.

NOVARTIS, FORMERLY SANDOZ AGRO, INC. (Des Plaines, IL) 1995 – 1996
Sandoz Agro is a division of Swiss company, Sandoz Pharmaceutical. The Agro division is a leading supplier of agricultural chemicals for pre-emergence crop protection and parasite treatments in the animal health market.

Sales and Operations Planning Analyst (Animal Health Division)
Institutionalized the company’s recent supply chain re-engineering. Improved forecast accuracy, created forecast performance and production plan accuracy metrics, implemented a SKU discontinuation process, recommended changes to safety stock policies, and participated on software selection and implementation teams.
* Proposed redesign of the company’s safety stock strategy for an inventory reduction of $2.5 Million and reduced carrying cost of $50,000 annually
* Defined S&OP cycle process, wrote AS/400 queries and excel spreadsheets

BP, FORMERLY AMOCO CORPORATION (Chicago, IL) 1988 to 1995
Amoco is an international oil major conducting business in exploration and production, oil refining and marketing, and petro chemicals.

Logistics Projects Coordinator
Assisted the IT program director in phase II of Amoco’s logistics re-engineering project. Phase II consisted of system implementations to support the logistics re-engineering. Led the project for crude loss control and demurrage. Also filled the role of program office to support five other project managers.

Negotiator, Loss Control & Demurrage
Negotiated cargo loss and demurrage claims. Monitored vessel operations and inspectors for improved loss control metrics.
* Conceived and developed claims tracking databases that streamlined the negotiating process. Manpower requirements for processing claims was reduced by 50% while the value added of claims was increased 200%
* Redefined barge monitoring process for a reduction in manpower requirements by 4 man days per month with residual benefits elsewhere inside and outside our organization

Crude Oil Pricing Specialist
Prepared crude oil price forecasts, maintained crude oil price database, provided fundamental analysis of crude oil logistics, and assumed role of Local Area network (LAN) administrator.
* Implemented an automatic download database system which led to the elimination of this position
* Developed a database application for scheduling tanker movements

Marine Operations Analyst
Arranged the company's annual budget including revenue projections and line item expenses.
